Sonardyne Acoustic release

Sonardyne acoustic releases are designed for remote deployment, tracking, localization and recovery of underwater loads or equipment. These systems are suitable for offshore applications such as oceanographic studies, oil exploration, and equipment release (scientific instruments, beacons or heavy loads) without the need for divers or onboard underwater systems.

Sonardyne acoustic releases are suitable for applications including environmental studies, aquaculture, coastal science, research vessels, ocean current studies, site investigation and characterization.

These sensors are compatible with the Sonardyne range of USBL to ensure easy deployment, tracking, location and control of the instrument, eliminating the need for a separate surface unit. Another option is the use of a robust, lightweight Deck Topside to configure and control the acoustic droppers remotely.
