“I chose to do my work-study placement at CADDEN because of the versatility and multitude of HR assignments I would be given, as well as the layout of the premises and the welcome I would receive from employees.
During my work-study placement, I appreciated the diversity of my assignments, and the support and management provided by Marine Fauvel as my supervisor and manager. My colleagues have always been available to answer my questions, and the atmosphere is really top-notch. We're lucky enough to have afterworks and seminars, among other things, which are really little extras that make you want to continue the adventure.
My tasks involved overall management of human resources, sales administration, monitoring overheads and service providers, and telephone and physical reception.
Future work-study students, take the time to analyze the jobs and missions of each person, as well as the main products, to save time in learning how the company works and everything that goes with it. It's a fascinating field that requires a minimum of knowledge to be able to understand your colleagues at the coffee break.”
“Before starting my work-study program at CADDEN, I didn't have any preference as to which field I wanted to work in. Then I saw a recruitment advert on LinkedIn for CADDEN, with a sector I didn't know anything about, which immediately intrigued me.
During my work-study period, I really appreciated the spirit of my colleagues: it was serious and there was a good atmosphere. It was a real challenge for me to work on technologies and technical products that I'd never come across before.
Future work-study students, don't be afraid to ask questions on all kinds of subjects (technical, company organization, etc.)! The support provided by the team is a real asset for integration.”
“My main project at CADDEN was to integrate a new sounder into the BALI system, and to develop an automatic configuration system for this sounder in order to maintain the “user friendly” aspect that is BALI's strength. This project required a wide range of skills, from technical expertise to project management and internal and external communication.
I was able to make rapid progress during my year of apprenticeship, and above all to realize that I had found what I wanted to do. I had, and still have today, the opportunity to learn a lot at CADDEN, in a great atmosphere and a very interesting field of activity. It's for all these reasons that I decided to pursue a permanent contract with CADDEN, a choice I have absolutely no regrets about.
I'd say to future work-study students that there's always room for error, and that's the best way to learn. Taking the initiative is always appreciated!”
"In the company, my main tasks were in electronics production (soldering/production, helping out with miscellaneous production, etc.) and finding alternatives to electronic boards for SVUs with supply problems.
I really appreciated the dynamic nature of the company, with colleagues always ready to help or answer my questions. There's a good general atmosphere and my tutor is always ready to help me despite his heavy workload. I can't forget the great afterworks 🙂 / company events (Christmas / birthdays / seminars / arrivals / departures).
Future work-study students, don't hesitate to ask questions while trying to work on your autonomy."
"I mainly worked on the BALI project. I was able to participate in the redesign of the server in Rust and work on the front part by adding new features. In particular, I have been given responsibilities for the work of UX and the design of new interfaces.
Hired on permanent contract after my training, I wanted to continue and finish the project I had started during my alternance.
My advice to future student-apprentice is to not hesitate to share your ideas and think about bringing breakfast from time to time! 😄"
"I was on the ANANAS project where I had the opportunity to focus on electronic design from A to Z. I appreciated the freedom to propose technical choices, to be able to test several ideas and autonomy even if I was the only one to realize electronics with some guidelines to guide the tasks. I really enjoyed my discussions with the team on various topics as well as my relationships with William, Aymeric (electronic skills) and Dominique.
Hired on permanent contract after my studies, I wanted to explore complete projects and develop the electronic design part. I appreciated the complexity of the products and their quality as well as the good atmosphere that reigned within the team.
My advice to future student-apprentice would be to develop its autonomy and be a force for proposal. Be curious, enjoy expanding your knowledge and be passionate."
