SBG Systems announces the release of the first MEMS-based Gyroscope
A MEMS-based gyroscope for demanding underwater and geospatial applications.

The Saint-Nazaire submarine base welcomed us on October 2, 2024 for a day of high-quality technical demonstrations and presentations in an exceptional setting. Our suppliers and partners were on hand to provide captivating presentations and impressive demonstrations: Marine Sonic, R3Vox, Sonardyne, Voyis, MarineNav, Abyssa.
The day was also an opportunity to celebrate our company’s 25th anniversary! 🎂
CADDEN becomes the French distributor for Voyis solutions dedicated to underwater mapping applications, detailed inspections (wind farms, wrecks, corals, cables, etc.), and photogrammetric surveys. This collaboration with the specialist in underwater photogrammetry solutions enhances the Nantes-based company’s portfolio of technologies.
Presented at our Technical Day, the Explorer MK II side scan sonar from Marine Sonic combines precision and versatility.
Thanks to its ability to operate in deep water and provide a long detection range, this system is ideal for both offshore and inland applications.
Hoskin Scientifique officially becomes Canadian distributor of our GEOD by CADDEN brand bathymetric solution BALI. With offices across Canada, Hoskin has 75 years’ experience in supplying sensors and solutions for environmental, geotechnical and instrumentation applications.
Throughout the year, our team has been busy carrying out real-life tests of our sensors, demonstrations of our solutions and training our customers.
CADDEN is very proud to have taken part in the HT20MW project in collaboration with our supplier Sonardyne! Our equipment was successfully deployed. The objective was to test different devices for continuous monitoring of dynamic cable deformation in time and space.

In addition to CADDEN’s 25th anniversary, we celebrated an exceptional milestone at the end of the year: the 25th anniversary of Dominique CHASSAGNE, our Technical Director.
For a quarter of a century, Dominique has been at the heart of our success, contributing not only his technical expertise, but also his dedication, creativity and capacity for innovation. His career is a true example of commitment and passion, values that define CADDEN.
As a technical leader, he plays a key role in developing innovative solutions, supporting our customers, and sharing his know-how with the team.
A huge thank you for everything you’ve achieved, Dominique, and for everything you continue to bring to CADDEN. We’re proud to work alongside you, and look forward to continuing this adventure together.
During the summer, CADDEN members took part in the annual seminar celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary. The venue was the city of Nantes, in the vineyards, for a day rich in entertainment and exercises to build together the pitch to present the company and the values we embody.
In December, the whole team got together to celebrate Christmas. On the program, the team took part in a quiz game before warming up in a mountain chalet-style restaurant.
